Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are an excellent method to earn gear weapons, gear and much more. They're difficult to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot lets you to bring pistols into a mission. Some people use it to help them achieve certain achievements, particularly those who aim for Suit Only. Others prefer to have the additional pistol to make a gap closer. When using this slot, you need to keep in mind that you'll need to click on the corresponding pistol category button, such as the alternate slot 2 for machine guns, in order to select the appropriate category. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are both active, making it simpler to use. This combo also gives you an attack tick from the concealed Weapon every 10 seconds so long as you have it placed in.

Slot for items that are smuggled

The smuggled item slot is a good feature for allowing players to bring tools and weapons, but it could use a better affordance. It's currently designed as pistols, that makes it difficult to distinguish the smuggled items slot from other gear slots.

The smuggle slot can be used to store a wide variety of items - from concussion devices to explosives used in weapons to subdued concussions. These items can be found in a variety of hidden locations throughout the map. They can also be found any time. These items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes, which conceal only small objects in the scenery, and objects directly.

Mission planning is a function available in short-term missions that allow players to unlock different starting locations equipment, smuggled items, and slots prior to their entry into the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning expand. This lets players plan the best mission for every challenge.

Gear Slot

In the beginning of the game, players will find their gear latest slots fill up, leading to the dreaded "Your Gear legitimate slots are full" message, which blocks Max from picking new equipment until old items are cleared or more space is obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which give players more inventory space in exchange for the completion of challenges. However, because the majority of these challenges are scattered throughout the world and can be overlooked, it may take some time to get the maximum number of inventory high-quality slots available in-game.

Each player can have up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. These are to be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to breaking in. Each gear item (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades of the same kind) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock different agency pickups on the map. These locations let you keep items that do not fit into your slot for gear or weapon, and retrieve them later.

These pickups are useful if your mission requires you to pass through a frisk or if you have a weapon with you that might otherwise raise suspicion. However, you can only conceal one item per game at a location that is a pickup for the agency.

This DLC adds new contracts for security and asset protection to the agency. To start these missions, simply talk to the receptionist at the agency and stock up on armor and snacks. Once you have reached the marker for your mission be sure to identify a group when you arrive.
