Following a series of social media posts suggesting it, Italian supercar maker Lamborghini finally announced its NFT (non fungible token) Project. It's called Space Key and developed in collaboration with an unidentified artist, it is made up of an advanced carbon fiber composite material, which was sent to the International Space Station for research purposes.

The digital artwork

The project is dubbed the Space Key, it consists of five items that unlock an exclusive digital artwork created by a yet-to-be-identified artist. The "collectors' piece" was developed in collaboration with NFTPRO(tm) and is limited to only five units. It will be auctioned off soon.

At the center of each Space Key is a block made of the most advanced carbon fire composite material, which was sent to the International Space Station in 2019 as part of a research project. After returning to Earth the Space Key was stamped with a QR code that links it to the digital component of the Space Petron Key to lamborghini (peatix.com).
