Three Wheeled Buggies

MFM reviewer Kath tried the buggy out with a newborn baby as well as a child who was 3 wheeled pushchair years old and found it to be very sturdy. It was able to handle cobbles, grass and rough pavements, aswell as dirt tracks and kerbs. She said "it feels sturdy to push and very solid when traversing difficult terrain. Its tyres (which are inflatable so need occasionally pumping) offer built-in suspension which was extremely comfortable for my children.

Another thing to consider is the size of the seat and shape. You will want it to be large enough for your child's comfort. You will also want it to be able to recline for them to lie flat. Some three wheeler pushchair-wheel buggies will have an option to lie flat completely while others will only allow an adult facing one.

The Roma Atlas is a great option for off-road or muddy walks. This buggy can be used as a single unit from birth, and then expands to accommodate two children as your family grows. Easy to manoeuvre

The only downside to this amazing maneuverability is that the larger wheels of a 3 wheel bassinet stroller-wheel buggy may make it difficult to squeeze into tight spaces. This is something you should be aware of when your home is one of the cities. If this is an issue then a 4-wheel buggy may be better for you.
