The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a good option if you are on a tight budget and don't require a stroller that can be used as car seat carrier. It has a simple, one-step foot brake that's flip flop friendly.

It's simple to push, and it feels solid when you are navigating kerbs and woodland paths. Additionally, it's easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a reputation for being the ultimate stroller that is light, ideal for urban dwellers as well for jet-setters. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a fantastic choice for parents who want a versatile stroller wagon. It can be converted from a stroller to wagon by simply flipping the handle, which means parents can select which mode they prefer on their adventure. The wagon can be used by one or two kids from 6 months old to 5 years, and it comes with a large storage basket for everything you need on the go.

The Xplore has two canopies that are able to rotate from front to back, ensuring adequate sun protection for the entire family. It has a smaller footwell than some wagons. This isn't suitable for long trips or napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy however, it isn't able to bend as much as other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the competition, and it does not lock tightly when folded. It is easy to move however, and it can fit through doors with a width of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents looking for a secondary stroller that's affordable. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and fold size, which means it's very light, compact when folded and easy to put into a car trunk or closet. It also offers a multi-position reclining seat and an adult cup holder. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.

It did better in our push and turn test than many of the strollers we tested, but it is still difficult to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. Its sunshades are among the smallest we tested, offering only a direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger sunshades.

The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to assemble with an average manual and no components required tools. However, it is missing certain essential features that we believe you should consider non-negotiable for a double stroller such as an extra-large basket and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

The Zelia is the latest version of Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is billed as an urban travel system. It is designed to take babies from birth to approximately 3.5 years old, and can be converted between a seat and a carrycot by just only a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It includes a light Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in-car-base and a reversible baby carriage.

The seat can be reclined using one hand and the large shopping basket makes it simple for parents to get their child in and out. Despite being a narrow pushchair it handled the everyday bumps with ease and was able to pass through doorways without any fuss.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward direction, or they can rotate. This is useful when navigating rough terrain. We let the front wheels to rotate during our walk on the stony path. It was able to handle this well, even though it felt to be a bit rougher.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is a household name for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler pushchairs for jogging, but they also have a wide range of 4-wheeler strollers. City Tour 2 is their most popular model. It is simple to use and folds down small enough to fit in the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It's a bit heavier than the other strollers we tried, but the wheels are a rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and durable. It is able to maneuver effortlessly across all types of terrain. It's also a breeze to lift even with two kids and a shopping bag.

Both the carrycot and seat have hoods that can be lowered to reveal the UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are sturdy and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams that can be blown back into toddlers faces.

It does not have much storage space, but it does have a large basket deep enough to hold a changing bag or a large amount of groceries. You can also pair it with the Baby Jogger car seat that is suitable for babies up 20 lbs (car seat and adapters are sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a ideal choice for those looking to take a stroller with you on the go.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first came onto the scene, it stole the hearts of parents across the world. It's a stroller made of aluminum that can see you through your baby's early days and beyond. It is a standout model with many unique features, like the capacity of the seat to be turned between the front facing parent and the outside as well as a large UPF50+ canopy with an eye shade that flips out, and an adjustable handlebar.

This single pushchair that is budget-friendly is surprisingly easy to handle and has excellent dual suspension, a one-hand fold and a practical carry strap. It's also extremely light and sturdy. The seat can be reclined into several positions. It comes with a built-in double breathable mattress that's suitable for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat features two large fixed or flip-out sun visors, both of which are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn’t ideal since it's not as silent as Velcro, and can awaken napping babies.

The Duet is a stroller that can be used side-by-side and can be adapted to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to 22kg max per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and works with some carrycots. In twin mode the seats can face one another or turn around and face the parents, theoretically reducing sibling disputes over who should sit with dad and mom. It comes with a huge tray for gears with a bottle holder as well as snack trays. It also has a compact stand fold and automatic frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2
