The Q Revo is a good option for those looking for a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. It does not use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do to identify your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules to provide you with an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can start the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of one button. You can select a general clean which focuses on the elimination of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that the entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the standard hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with a superior filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. We like the statement but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles like stairs and other barriers, and also to clean your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is superior as its spinning pads scrub floors more efficiently than the vibrating pads.

The only drawback is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable price to pay if you want one of the best mop and vacuum in one robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is larger than many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without interruption. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and move on whenever it comes across one.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app will only notify you if something is wrong for example, a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create or merge rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is beneficial for those who have different flooring in different areas of your house or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo with all the features you could want. It comes with an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an automatic cleaning station that washes and cleans the mop pads, keeping them fresh and ready for reuse. The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the modern, sleeker design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate scrub away tough stains, and its motor generates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It can build detailed floor maps, identify different types of flooring and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These are nice features, but they also push the L10s into the class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.

It is designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine has a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The central control panel includes a circular menu that allows you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences.
