The drawers have temperature controls so that you can set them to Beverage, Meat, or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, although I found their textured plastic coatings to be a little difficult on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with all the features you would expect from a refrigerator in this price range. This includes Wi-Fi as well as app support, and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app, which is available for iOS and Android devices can let you control your refrigerator from anywhere in the world, and offers many options for customizing. It will also send notifications when the door is left unlocked and when the freezer or fridge needs to be defrosted, and when the filter requires a change.

The ice maker is one of the best we've ever tested, and it produces a pyramid-shaped form of Ice with low water consumption. This fridge is ideal for a single family or a kitchenette that wants an attractive design and top of the best food preservation.

This refrigerator was the highest-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators Test for several reasons. The freezer temperature remained steady at just above 0° Fahrenheit and never fluctuated by more than a fraction, this is essential to avoid freezing burn. The fridge's refrigerator section also performed well, reaching the temperature that was set for the initial setting within an hour and keeping the temperature constant over the course of our testing.

The fridge is a bit expensive, but it offers top-quality features and functions for the cost.

While the fridge is an amazing piece of equipment but it's important to be aware of the limitations. You might need to be inventive with tall items since the fridge is limited in shelf space. It's a basic fridge that might not be as eye-catching as some of its competitors however it has enough features to make a good choice. Its most notable feature is the temperature adjustable drawer, helps to keep food like meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a large ice maker as well as a water dispenser.

The "Chill Drawer", which sits over the two crisper bins, is a great feature. The drawer lets you redirect some of your fridge's cooling power into the area so it can be used to store food items which need extra attention. This is a pretty good performance, but it doesn't quite make it into the top ten in our ratings.
