This refrigerator is a great choice for single household or kitchenettes that want a built-in look and top-of-the-line food preservation.

This fridge was rated the best in our Refrigerators Test due to a variety of reasons. Its freezer temperatures remained constant at just above 0°F and never fluctuated by more than a fraction, this is essential to avoid freezing burn. The refrigerator section of the refrigerator also performed well. It reached the temperature it was set within an hour and remained at the temperature throughout our testing.

It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The top shelf to the right can be folded in order to create more space for tall items. There's also a full-width storage drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.

The other issue we have with the door of this refrigerator. They have handles that are sunken on the front that allow smaller people to pull them open from the bottom, however they're still difficult for taller people to pull closed without slamming them. It would have been more effective if these had front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent option for those looking to blend the look and feel of a French-door refrigerator with an efficient design. Its capacity is higher than average for a counter-depth model and it cools evenly and has a good layout. It's also less expensive than the top counter-depth refrigerator with an ice maker, which helps make it a popular choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

It has a simple design that's not as striking in appearance like some of the competitors however it comes with enough features that make it a great pick. It also has a large water dispenser, as well as an excellent Ice machine that is fast.

The "Chill Drawer", which sits above the two crisper bins, is a excellent feature.
