The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks certain of the more advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do to map your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features that include an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the touch of the button. You can select the general clean option which focuses on the elimination of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush however iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it hug furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the high price price.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is beneficial for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can also vacuum up wet spills but I would suggest drying them with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). But while these functions are nice to have however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category, which might make it a little more expensive than the average homeowner require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is slim and tall and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home.
