World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as Crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the weapon's upgrade template ends in %, it will increase 3percent of its previous attack damage every time it's upgraded.

The cost for upgrading items increases when they reach the current level of the item. The cost increases as the level of the item upgrader kit rises.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be put into armor, weapons, and trinkets to provide an extra stat boost or impact while they're being used. They can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be used on devices that have slots. The item must be upgraded to blue level before a component can be used. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used once; they cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced with upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a particular kind of upgrade component that is designed for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment and some of the items that are not ascending back. Infusions and Enrichments can be obtained by salvaging ascended equipment or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may have a prefix or suffix that alters the name of the equipment to the upgrade (for instancefor example "Canthan Armor Insignia is changed to Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase an item's Mark Level or Rarity, which allows players to create stronger versions of that equipment with fewer Upgrade Crystals than is required to achieve the same level of upgrade using normal methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can change the attack or defence characteristics of a weapon, or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be made at the Portative Forging Station. They can also be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear or purchasing them in the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals.

The player is able to have a maximum of five boost upgrades at one time; each upgrade increases the chance that a higher-level version of the item will be available at the time of the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to continue improving their equipment, even if they're unsure of how much it will improve following a subsequent reset.

The process of upgrading an item can be expensive and it's possible that the item will eventually become obsolete or even break if the upgrade fails. Upgrade Crystals and assist powder are also destroyed when the upgrade fails. This is reduced by the availability of cash shop items that can double or even eliminate possibility of failure, as well as a few upgrades that give the benefit of being reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in special sockets. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, which includes any existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We recommend upgrading them as fast as you can to level 15.

It is commonplace to see in the final game that placing Glyphs is the most effective way to upgrade your equipment. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded directly to level 15 and offer a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to get higher nodes more quickly.

Glyphs, which is the only upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and then replaced again, are the most common. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires an Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and re-place.

Each Glyph has a particular range of values that can enhance a stat by. The value is shown when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use as well as during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs you will require them to be put on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a bonus that will boost the stats of a particular set of nodes that are within the radius of the Glyph. It could be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats depending on the Glyph.

Glyphs will boost all nodes that are connected to them, therefore it is recommended to place Glyphs in the most important spots on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. Druids, for example, should place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might also want to consider placing them near their primary damage nodes.

Leveling

The item upgrade system allows players to increase the power of certain items by introducing upgraded components. This is also known as "upping". Each upgradeable item is assigned an amount that determines the final statistics. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each level of an item requires a different number of components to reach and the cost of upgrading increase as the item gets upgraded.

Certain upgrades require a certain ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab in crafting tables. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed yields a certain number of Technology points. These points can be used to level the item. Once enough points have been earned, the upgrade can be claimed and the additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When an individual player upgrade the equipment they have the original item will be replaced by a new item. This means that the same armor piece will become a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will have its own set bonus. This can be a disadvantage because it can make the item more expensive if you don't need it.

If the player has enough tokens, they can roll the upgrade of their item. This causes the item to be traded for a new one, which will come with the level 1 base, and a completely different set of bonuses. This is useful for some items, but it shouldn't be performed frequently, since it could waste many resources.

Some upgrades can increase their value and allow players to personalize their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it gives an increase in power if the player repeatedly enters or exits water. It can be upgraded multiple times, each time raising the maximum roll by 10 points. This item is extremely valuable in PvP, as a perfectly rolled version of it could be worth between 20 and 50 times its value without being upgraded.

Requirements

Item upgrading allows players to upgrade the quality of their equippable equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets above ilvl 385--by providing the appropriate currency and items to an item upgrader (www.Metooo.it) NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase the defense base of the piece, whereas upgrading weapon items will increase the damage base and the strength and dexterity required to match the requirements of the upgraded equipment.

Each item upgrades can be upgraded up to five times, except for hero gear, which can have eight upgrades. Each time you upgrade a piece of equipment, it is at risk of failing. The failure rate increases as you move beyond the maximum number. Failures will result in the item reverting to its initial state which means that the player has to purchase more resources than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item is not upgraded the experience bar in the bar for growth will be reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it earned, such as the chance to crit damage to attack, additional effects (such as an increase in healing over time or the speed of reloading). The player is able to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that, should a weapon gain an increase in the chance of crit the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand-new attribute that has been added to item definitions. The value is recalculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The upgrade cost for non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a typical equipment item might have 5 upgrades at a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero quality items will have the lowest cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they might require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. However, players must visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade cost mentioned above, each equipment upgrade will require an individual amount of ingredients needed to upgrade.
